Good morning and happy Monday! This week will be slow in the way of scheduled housing news until Wednesday, when things start hopping. Until then, we do have some items of interest for you. Number one, prices on luxury homes are beginning to crack. They’re down 18% this year in their most significant quarterly drop since the start of the pandemic. Moving to rentals, U.S. rents surpassed $2,000 a month in May for the first time in history.

Bonds today are under extreme selling pressure. 10yr T-Notes are -1-07 to yield 3.30%. MBS are lower also, with FNMA 30yr 4.50% -28/32 to $99-04, which is a 4.64% yield and +125 basis points to the 6.8yr treasury curve. All assets are for sale going into the June Fed meeting tomorrow.
